We Believe
Biblical counseling holds that the core of human problems is heart idolatry, a condition where individuals place something or someone above God in their affections and priorities.
This idolatry leads to sin, broken relationships, and personal turmoil. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is seen as the only solution to this condition, as it reconciles humanity to God, transforms the heart, and enables a life of obedience and joy in Him.
This philosophy aligns with the Bible's teaching that the human heart is the root of all sin and that true transformation comes only through the work of Christ.
Gospel-Centered Statement of Faith
The Authority of Scripture – We affirm that the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, sufficient for all matters of faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Hebrews 4:12).
The Gospel of Jesus Christ – We believe that salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Jesus Christ’s life, death, and resurrection provide the only means of reconciliation with God (Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:1).
The Role of the Church – We hold that the local church is God’s ordained means for discipleship, spiritual growth, and accountability in the life of a believer (Hebrews 10:24-25; Ephesians 4:11-16).
Biblical Counseling – We affirm that true healing and restoration come through a Christ-centered, Scripture-based approach rather than secular psychology or human wisdom (Colossians 2:8; 2 Peter 1:3).
Sanctification and Transformation – We believe that believers are called to grow in Christlikeness through the power of the Holy Spirit and the application of God’s Word (Romans 12:2; Philippians 1:6).
